FCSC United in Pink: Playing for Purpose This October

Alex Moraes • October 13, 2026

Honoring Our Heroes, Supporting Our Warriors, and Standing Together as One Club

This October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, FCSC is taking the pitch with purpose. Across all 10 of our competitive teams, players are lacing up and stepping onto the field wearing pink socks as part of our FCSC United in Pink initiative.

Every slide tackle, every goal, and every minute played this month is dedicated to the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and friends in our club community who have faced breast cancer. By filling our fields with pink, our players are giving a powerful voice and visible support to those who have fought, those who are currently fighting, and those we carry forever in our hearts.

We are deeply honored to feature our official Tribute Wall, highlighting the 16 incredible individuals submitted by our FCSC families.

United as One Community

Soccer is about more than what happens on the scoreboard—it’s about community, solidarity, and lifting each other up when it matters most. As you cheer on our competitive teams this month, take a moment to look down at those pink socks and remember the courage and strength of the women listed above.

Thank you to all of our team managers, players, and families who submitted names and helped make this tribute possible. Let’s make this October a month of hope, awareness, and unwavering support.
