A strategic partnership with RCX Sports brings Major League Soccer’s official youth recreational program to local families

Franklin County Sports Club (FCSC) is proud to announce that it has been officially approved as an MLS GO League Operator for Franklin County through a strategic partnership with RCX Sports, the operating partner of MLS GO.

This designation places FCSC among a select group of organizations nationwide trusted to deliver Major League Soccer’s official youth recreational soccer experience, designed to provide a fun, accessible, and developmentally appropriate entry point into the sport.

What Is MLS GO?

MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s national youth soccer initiative, created to grow the game by offering a high-quality, community-based recreational program for boys and girls. The league emphasizes player enjoyment, skill development, and positive experiences—while connecting local communities to the broader MLS soccer ecosystem.

Through MLS GO, players receive:

  • Professionally designed training curriculum
  • Age-appropriate coaching standards
  • Official MLS GO gear and branding
  • A pathway that aligns with long-term player development

Why FCSC?

FCSC’s selection as an MLS GO League Operator reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to coaching education, player development, and serving families across Franklin County with integrity and excellence.

As a locally rooted organization, FCSC was founded to raise the standard of youth soccer while maintaining a strong focus on community, respect, and access for all players.

“Becoming an official MLS GO League Operator is an important milestone for our club and our community,” said Alex J. Moraes, President and Executive Director of Franklin County Sports Club. “This partnership validates the work we’ve done to build quality programs and gives local families access to a nationally recognized soccer experience—right here in Franklin County.”

What This Means for Local Families

With FCSC operating MLS GO locally, families can expect:

  • A professionally supported recreational soccer option
  • A clear, trusted entry point into the sport
  • Programming aligned with national best practices
  • Local leadership with national backing

Most importantly, MLS GO allows young players to fall in love with the game in a fun, structured, and positive environment—while giving parents confidence in the quality of the program.

Looking Ahead

This partnership represents another step forward in FCSC’s mission to provide a complete soccer pathway for players of all ages and abilities. Additional details regarding MLS GO programming, registration, and seasonal offerings will be announced soon.

FCSC looks forward to working alongside MLS GO and RCX Sports to continue growing the game and strengthening the soccer community throughout Franklin County.
