🚨 It’s Official: FCSC is Now a Sanctioned MYSA Member Club! 🚨

A new era has arrived for youth soccer in Franklin County.

We are thrilled to announce that Franklin County Sports Club (FCSC) has officially been accepted as a sanctioned Member Club of the Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) — the state's governing body for youth soccer under U.S. Youth Soccer.

This historic moment marks a massive milestone for our young club, our athletes, and the entire Franklin County community. With MYSA affiliation, our players now have a clear pathway to elite development programs, including the Missouri Olympic Development Program (ODP).

“We are looking forward to seeing Franklin County Sports Club grow,” said Nik Bushell, Executive Director of MYSA. “MYSA would like to extend an invitation to FCSC players to get involved with the Missouri Olympic Development Program.”

That’s right — ODP opportunities are now within reach for FCSC athletes who demonstrate potential, passion, and performance.

From Our President

“After almost one year of kickstarting the conversation with MYSA, FCSC is now an official youth soccer club affiliated and sanctioned by MYSA,” said Alex Moraes, FCSC President and Executive Director. “Our leadership, coaches, staff, families, and players couldn’t be prouder of this major achievement. We have been successful at expanding competitive soccer opportunities to the youth of our beautiful Franklin County.”

What This Means for Our Club

  • Recognition and Credibility: FCSC is now part of the statewide and national soccer ecosystem.
  • Player Development Opportunities: Access to the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and higher-level competitions.
  • Coach Education and Resources: Our coaching staff will benefit from MYSA-sanctioned training and certifications.
  • More Competitive Play: FCSC teams can now compete in sanctioned leagues and events under the MYSA umbrella.

Let’s Celebrate Together!

This achievement is not just about paperwork or status. It’s about providing our youth with a future in the sport we all love. It’s about putting Franklin County on the map in Missouri’s soccer scene. It’s about creating a legacy of excellence, opportunity, and community.

To every family that trusted us, every coach who believed, and every player who showed up to give their all — this win is yours.

📣 Help us spread the word! Share this announcement with your network and let’s show Missouri that Franklin County is here to compete, grow, and lead.
