Making History: FCSC Brings FC Bayern München Academy to Franklin County

55 athletes across four counties united at N-Sports Rec Center for a historic European training experience.

Franklin County Sports Club (FCSC) recently completed a historic chapter in local youth sports development, hosting two landmark sessions of The Bavarian Way Summer Camp at the N-Sports Rec Center in Washington, MO.

FCSC became the first club in Franklin County and surrounding regions to partner with JB Soccer Academy to bring official FC Bayern München Academy coaches straight from Germany to train local athletes.

A Regional Magnet for Youth Talent

The camp surpassed expectations, drawing 55 dedicated players across both weeks. The event became a regional hub for talent, attracting athletes not only from Franklin County, but also traveling from St. Louis, St. Charles, and Warren counties.

Players from elite competitive organizations—including JB Marine, CarShield FC, and local independent teams teams—came together under one roof. The climate-controlled indoor turf at N-Sports Rec provided the perfect environment for high-intensity training away from the August heat.

World-Class UEFA Coaching on Local Pitch

Led by UEFA-licensed coaches Johannes Brendle and Marlon Rosiński, the camp introduced athletes to authentic German training methodologies. The curriculum focused on:

  • Individual Ball Mastery: Accelerating decision-making under tight pressure.
  • Tactical Awareness: Understanding positional play and space creation through the "Bavarian Way."
  • Professional Evaluations: Providing constructive feedback to elevate each player's competitive ceiling.

Setting a New Standard for Local Soccer

The energy across both weeks demonstrated what is possible when high-level resources are brought directly to our community. Seeing players from rival regional clubs train side-by-side with mutual respect embodied the true spirit of FCSC’s motto: One Club. One Goal.

FCSC extends a sincere thank you to Coaches Johannes and Marlon, the staff at N-Sports Rec Center, and the 55 families who made this event an absolute triumph.

Keep the Momentum Going This Fall

The summer training doesn't stop here. FCSC is excited to build on this momentum with our upcoming Fall Ball Mastery program designed to sharpen technical execution and maintain elite conditioning throughout the competitive season.
