This Giving Tuesday, Help Us Build a Stronger Soccer Community in Franklin County

Alex Moraes • November 24, 2025

Your support brings our first-ever New Haven soccer field to life, funds scholarships, and strengthens opportunities for local athletes.

At Franklin County Sports Club (FCSC), we believe that every child deserves a place to grow, learn, compete, and belong. This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking our community to stand with us as we continue building something truly special — not just for today’s players, but for generations to come.

Building New Haven’s First Soccer Field

We are currently constructing the very first soccer field ever built in New Haven City Park, a milestone that will give hundreds of kids a safe, accessible place to train, play, and dream. Your donation helps us finish the field — from final grading and seeding to equipment, goals, and long-term maintenance.

This field isn’t just grass and lines. It’s a home. A place where local kids will take their first shots, make their first friends, and experience the power of teamwork.

Supporting Local Families Through Scholarships

We never want finances to be the reason a child can’t play. Our scholarship fund provides financial assistance to families who need help covering club fees, uniforms, and seasonal costs.

When you give, you help ensure that every player — regardless of background — has a chance to be part of the FCSC family.

Strengthening Our Club & Coaches

Your support also helps us keep FCSC strong, mission-driven, and accessible by funding:

  • Coaching education & licensing
  • Player development equipment
  • Facility costs and maintenance
  • Safety, training, and club operations

These investments allow our players to compete, grow, and succeed in an environment built on integrity, respect, and community.

Why Your Gift Matters

FCSC exists because families, volunteers, coaches, and supporters like you believe in creating opportunities for kids in Franklin County.

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity helps us:

  • Finish the New Haven soccer field
  • Support families through scholarships
  • Strengthen our teams, coaches, and community

Together, we can continue building a club we’re proud of — one that teaches more than soccer. One that teaches confidence, resilience, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game.

Thank you for believing in our mission — and in our kids.
