Soccer, Community, and Giving Back: FCSC and Four Rivers YMCA Team Up for the Ultimate World Cup Final Watch Party

Alex Moraes • July 5, 2026

Join us Sunday, July 19th at N Sports Rec for the 2026 World Cup Final and the inaugural staff Community Cup match.

The countdown is officially on. On Sunday, July 19th, the biggest game on earth kicks off, and the ultimate local destination to witness history is N Sports Rec in Washington, Missouri.

Franklin County Sports Club (FCSC) and the Four Rivers Family YMCA are thrilled to announce a powerhouse joint-partnership to bring our community a family-friendly World Cup Final Watch Party & Fundraiser. Best of all? All proceeds raised from this event will be split 50/50 between both organizations to directly fund local youth sports programming and scholarships right here in Franklin County.

More Than Just a Watch Party

We are completely taking over N Sports Rec to provide a massive, action-packed soccer festival for families, die-hard fans, and community supporters alike:

  • The Main Event: Catch the 2026 World Cup Final starting at 2:00 p.m. on the big screens in the upscale N Sports upper lounge.
  • For the Kiddos: From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., N Sports’ indoor soccer field will be fully open for youth play. Parents can relax and watch the World Cup upstairs while the kids burn off energy playing safely on the turf.
  • The Rivalry (The Community Cup): Arrive early at 1:00 p.m. to witness the birth of a new local tradition. The staff of the Four Rivers YMCA will face off against the staff of FCSC in a friendly, high-stakes 7v7 soccer match (two 15-minute halves) to see who takes home the inaugural Community Cup trophy and ultimate bragging rights.

A Shared Vision for Youth Sports

This event grew from a shared passion for youth development and community engagement during a recent meeting between the leadership of FCSC and the YMCA.

"Partnering with the YMCA for this event represents a massive step forward for soccer and youth development in our area," said Alex, Executive Director of Franklin County Sports Club. "The energy, collaboration, and shared vision we have for sports in Franklin County point toward an incredibly bright future. This watch party is just the beginning of what our organizations can accomplish when we work together."

Becky Cox, Executive Director of the Four Rivers Family YMCA, shared an equally powerful sentiment regarding the alignment of the two organizations:

"At the Y, we believe that sports possess a unique power to unite people and build character," said Cox. "We are incredibly excited to partner with FCSC for this event. By coming together, we are not only celebrating the world's greatest game, but we are also actively strengthening community connections and ensuring that every young athlete in our region has the opportunity to inspired, supported, and active."
