Following an intense, high-energy week of select tryouts, over 130 players, coaches, and family members gathered on Friday night at N-Sports Rec Center. The goal? To cheer on the USMNT in their historic World Cup opening match against Paraguay—and to unite our soccer community ahead of the upcoming seasonal year.

The event provided a fantastic, zero-pressure environment for newly formed rosters to meet, parents to mingle, and team chemistry to begin building off the pitch. And the team on the screen didn't disappoint either—the energy reached a fever pitch as the USMNT dominated the pitch with a massive 4-1 victory over Paraguay!

Investing in the Future of Franklin County Soccer

At halftime, FCSC leadership took the floor alongside our Silver Sponsor to address the packed room. While the evening was a celebration, it also served as a critical club fundraiser.

The core mission of this year's fundraising efforts is clear: developing quality coaches to produce top talent in Franklin County and the surrounding areas. By investing heavily in the continuing education, licensing, and resources for our coaching staff, FCSC ensures that every single player receives a premier soccer education right here in our home community.

A Massive Thank You to Our Partners

An event of this scale is only possible through incredible community alignment. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to:

  • Jonathan Pickens - Thrivent Financial Advisor: For graciously hosting our families and fully sponsoring the complimentary food and refreshments for the evening.
  • N-Sports Rec Center: For opening up their top-tier indoor facilities and providing the perfect venue for our club to gather.

As the old saying goes, community takes care of community. Thank you to every current family, every brand-new club member, and every local supporter who attended, donated, and made this night an unforgettable success.

The rosters are set, the culture is strong, and the future is bright. Let’s make the 26/27 season our best one yet! 🦅⚽
